Funeral services for John H. Geesaman, 82,
who died at his home, 735 Fidalgo street
in this city on Friday, were held in the
Lemley chapel at 2 o'clock on Tuesday
afternoon with the Rev. Backstrom in charge.
Burial was in the Union cemetery.
Mr. Geesaman, a farmer, was born March 1,
1861, at Fort Wayne, Indiana, and came to
Sedro-Woolley thirteen years ago. He is
survived by four daughters, Mrs R. L.
McCormick of Sedro-Woolley, Mrs. Aaron
Tronson, Stanwood, Mrs. John Kirkendall
and Mrs. Lula B. Ward, Fort Smith,
Arkansas, one son, Oscar of Boyds, Wash. and
a stepson William Hartsoe of Bremerton,
fifteen grandchildren and eleven great
grandchildren.
