He married 2nd about 1926, Mt. Vernon, Ohio, to Mrs. Bessie Lena Chrisman Hedges.
He and his wife were killed instantly in a tractor-automobile collision at Swamp Church on the Johnsville Columbus road. County authorities said Yerian attempted to pass a tractor when he met another automobile and in trying to avoid a collision struck the tractor and then hit the other car.
He was a representative of the Banner Coffee Company, Mt. Vernon.
