Cable Lane was a loving father and husband. His parents were Julian Wellington Lane and Alice Mary "Pursglove" Lane. He was a 32nd Degree Mason and a Shriner and was an active member of their Transportation Club. He had a leadership and executive position in the club. He worked in management positions for the Union Pacific Railroad in Los Angeles and retail food sales. In his early years in Pennsylvania he worked as a fireman for the Pennsylvaina and Lake Erie Railroad with his father and brothers. He was a loving father of two daughters and two sons. He passed away in Burbank, CA from a fatal heart attack.
