BALLINGER - James "Mack" McAlister 77 died Saturday Jan 2 1903 in a local hospital Graveside service win be at 2 pm Tuesday in Old Runnels Cemetery directed by Rains-Seale Funeral Home He was born March 20 1915 in Deport and had lived in Ballinger since 1952 .He was a derrick hand in the oil industry and wu a member of Third Avenue Baptist Church and Clay City Masonic Lodge No 449 in Clay City; Survivors include hla wife Martha McAlister of Ballinger two sons John McAlister of Ballinger and Joe McAlister of Abilene, a daughter Sue McDow of Ballinger, a sister Elsie Vanatta of Van and six grandchildren.
