STAPP, Norah Paralee.
Passed away on July 15, at the age of 87 at her son and daughters-in laws home in Acton surrounded by her loving family. She was born in Tecumseh, Oklahoma on May 17, 1921. Norah married James Austin Stapp in 1940. While her husband was in the pacific during World War II, she moved to Hermosa Beach, and worked at North American Aviation as one of the many women known as "Rosie the Riveter." In 1955 the couple moved to the Antelope Valley where Norah worked at Plant 42 in Plamdale until 1965. She is survived by her son James L. Stapp and wife Tamara of Acton, grandson James E Stapp and wife Chantell of Palmdale, grand-daughter Kimberlee Stapp of Acton, and six great-grandchildren. Graveside services will be held at 1:30pm on Friday July 18th, 2008 at Desert Lawn Park in Palmdale
