Peter has an unmarked grave. His wife, Ellen (Kennedy) Alexander, is buried in the Clinton Cemetery, Clinton, Lenawee County, Michigan. Today that cemetery is called Riverside Cemetery. She is also buried in an unmarked grave.

Peter Alexander, age 83, of 606 Grand boulevard, died at his home at 5 o'clock this morning of complications. He had been ill for more than a year. Mrs. Alexander was born in Scotland on Jan. 1, 1847, and had lived in this city since he came here from LaPorte, Ind., 15 years ago.

He was married to Helen Kennedy of Gilbertsville, Mass., who passed away 30 years ago. On April 17, 1900, he married Elizabeth May Burgel, of Coldwater, Mich., who survives. Surviving children are three sons, Samuel of the state of Washington; Louis, of South Bend; Peter, of Peru, Ind.; and a daughter, Mrs. Ida Ward, of California. A brother, James, of Gilbertsville, Mass., also survives. The remains may be viewed at the Sprague chapel. Funeral arrangements are incomplete.
