John E. Dalton, formerly of Leadington, was born in Flat River, July 23, 1918, and died April 12 at Cape Girardeau.
He was the son of the late Melvin Dalton and Cora Covington Dalton.
Surviving is his sister, Mrs. Vernon Rhodes of Cape Girardeau, one nephew, Mark Rhodes, and one niece, Kelly Rhodes.
The body is in state at Murphy Sparks Funeral Home in Flat River.
Services will be conducted Friday afternoon at 2 p.m. in the Chapel with the Rev. Don Jones officiating.
Interment will be in Parkview Cemetery at Farmington.
