Funeral services for Mrs. Verlin (Claudia Lenore) Veronie, 46, of Houston, Texas, will be at 3 p.m. today, April 24 in Henning Memorial United Methodist Church. Rev. Beverly Bond, pastor, will officiate, Burial will be in Mimosa Pines Garden of Memories under direction of Hammer Lyons Funeral Home,
Mrs. Veronie died at 7:50 p.m. Tuesday in Alief General Hospital in Houston. A native of Indian Bayou, La. she had lived in Sulphur five years and had resided in Houston the past eight years.
Survivors include her husband; three sons, Donald Veronie of Sulphur, Tommy and Billy Veronie, both of Houston; one daughter, Mrs. Roxanne (Veronie) Johnson of Sulphur; her mother, Mrs. Eva Hayes of Sulphur. Also two brothers, Merton and Donald Hayes both of Sulphur; three sisters, Mrs. Bernice Robbins, Mrs. Peggy Guthrie and Mrs. Ann Sims, all of Sulphur and four grandchildren.
