On October 25, 1903, the mission was organized into a church of sixty-three members by the Leaksville church. Rev. C. A. Jenkins continued to serve the church and the mission. The name of the new church was to be Spray Baptist Church.

After the regular services on Sunday morning, October 25, 1903, a meeting was called for the purpose of organizing the Spray Baptist Church.
The meeting was called to order by Rev. C. A. Jenkins and the following officers were elected: M. A. Trent - Clerk; John F. Lewis, Dr. John Sweaney and Albert E. Millner - Trustees.
