TAHLEQUAH - Services for David Adrian, 88, of Tahlequah, will be 2 p.m. Tuesday, July 15, 2008 in the Green Country Funeral Home Chapel. Officiating will be Rev. Micky Merrick and Rev. George McLaughlin. Serving as pall bearers are grandsons John and Paul DeHues, Laine Anderson, Keith Adamson, Eric Kerr, and Mike Chambers. Interment will follow in the Tahlequah City Cemetery under the care of Green Country Funeral Home.David Adrian was born Nov. 1, 1919, in Butterfield, Minn., the son of John and Agnes "Nettie" (Penner) Adrian. He married Evelyn Heppner in 1940 and they shared 68 years together. On a farm near Butterfield, David farmed from 1940-1961, farming agriculture and raising livestock. In 1955.David was saved and has served the Lord since that time. He was involved in missionary work in Minnesota using films to share the gospel. In 1961, he moved to Go-Ye Mission farm, on the campus of Markoma Bible Academy, in Tahlequah. He began his own business, Adrian Farm Implement, and operated it until his retirement, in 1980. Following retirement, he remained active in design and fabrication of farm equipment. He was known for his fair dealing, honesty and quality in his work.Preceding him in death are his parents; a son, David, in 1954; a sister, Annie Lepp; brother, John Adrian; and son-in-law, Ronald Wall.Cherishing his memory are his wife; daughters Paulette Wall and Norma DeHues; a son, Robert "Bob" Adrian and his wife, Diana, all of Tahlequah; 10 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; a brother, Ben, and his wife, Eleanor; a sister, Agnes Braten and her husband, Aasten; and cousins, other relatives, friends and loved ones, too numerous to mention.Green Country Funeral Home, 203 S.
