ALBA RUTH JANES, 99, of Memphis, died July 13, 2008. Mrs. Janes was a member of Great Oaks Church of Christ for five years. She was preceded in death by her husband, Charlie Janes and is survived by two sons, Gailon Goolsby of Saltillo, MS, Darrell Janes of Memphis; five grand-children, Donna Beeler of Saltillo, MS, Rita Hutchens, David Janes, Carla Janes and Angie Shanklin, all of Memphis. Visitation will be 5-7 p.m., Tuesday, July 15 at Memorial Park Funeral Home, with the service to be held at 1 p.m., Wednesday, July 16. Burial will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery.
