Floyd Jay Campbell, long time resident of Vernal, passed away at his home on Saturday, July 12, 2008.
He was born in Montwell, Duchesne, Utah on August 7, 1918 to Calvin Leroy and Louisa Elizabeth Moyes Campbell. He married his sweetheart, Iris Roberts, December 18, 1937, in Vernal, Utah.
Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday, July 16, 2008 at 11:00 a.m. in the Ashley LDS Stake Center (850 West 100 North). A Viewing will be held Tuesday from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. at the Blackburn Vernal Mortuary and at the Chapel one hour prior to Services.
Interment will be in the Vernal Memorial Park with Full Military Honors accorded by the American Legion post 11 and 124 under the direction of Blackburn Vernal Mortuary.
