She was an avid gardener, loved to sew, crochet, knit and made many wonderful thing over the years, but her true passion in life was for her wonderful family. Mrs. Blasczyk will be deeply missed by all her family and friends who knew and loved her.
She was survived by her husband of 64 years Joseph Blasczyk of the family home; son Pastor Joseph Blasczyk Jr. of Chicago, IL; daughter Ruth Brown and her husband Dr. M.E. Brown of Las Cruces; sister Norma Cocuzza of Florida; granddaughters Joy and her husband Ruben and Noël also by her nieces, nephews and cousins. 3 sisters, 1 brother and 2 granddaughters preceded Marian in death.
Funeral Services for Marian are at 1:00 PM Wednesday, Dec. 29, 2004 also at Getz Funeral Home with her son Pastor Joseph Blasczyk Jr. officiating.
Pallbearers will be members of her family and her friends.
