BULLET VICTIM'S BURIAL PLANNED

Bodies of Doctor and Wife Held in Mortuary Pending Arrangements

Two bullets Saturday had ended the 11-month-old marriage of Dr. Merle H. Fulton, 40, formerly of Denver, and Valera Soffe, 20, of South Jordan.
Funeral plans were being made while the bodies of Dr. and Mrs. Fulton lay in the Bingham mortuary. Dr. Fulton, a chiropractor, Friday shot and killed his wife and then fatally wounded himself in front of the Bingham hospital, assertedly because she was suing him for a divorce.
A brother of the doctor, Dr. Charles Fulton of Denver, also a chiropractor, notified the mortuary he was leaving for Bingham.
Mrs. Fulton was born in South Jordan February 5, 1913, a daughter of Harold and Grace Holt Soffe. She was an honor graduate of Jordan high school in 1930.
She is survived by her parents, a sister and two brothers, Mrs. Golda Soffe Brown, Wayne Soffe and Kenneth Soffe, all of South Jordan.
Dr. Fulton is survived, in addition to his brother, by his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Harry Fulton of Brunswick, Neb.; another brother, Gordon, and two sisters, Mrs. William Thompson and Mrs. Muriel McKay, all of Creighton, Neb.
********
20-year-old homicide victim, shot twice in the chest in front of the hospital where she no doubt worked, as a nurse.
