The Montgomery County native was the son of the late Edward and Frankie Palmer Moore and had lived in Montgomery County all of his life. He was a retired farmer and carpenter and a member of the Primitive Baptist Church of Vidalia.
Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Gladys West Moore, Ailey; one son, Earnest Eugene Moore, Ailey; one sister, Mrs. Martha Oliver, Ailey; one brother, Lee Moore, Tarrytown; two grandchildren, Mickey Edward Moore, Ailey and Mrs. Gina Foster, Soperton; two great-grandchildren, Jade Foster, Soperton and Carley Moore, Ailey and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services for Mr. Moore were held in the Primitive Baptist Church, Vidalia, on Sunday, November 7, 1993 at 3:00 p.m. with Elder Manning Temples officiating, assisted by Elder Tommy Rountree. Interment was in the Braddy Cemetery.
Active pallbearers were William Phillips, Bob Durden, Wyman Braddy, Roy Stewart, Talmadge Newsome and Harold Hodges. Murchison Funeral Home of Vidalia was in charge of arrangements.
