Mrs Alice Banbury, 75, of Pulaski, widow of James T Bambury died in the House of the Good Samaritan in Watertown. Funeral was at the Foster Funeral Home with Rev Harold Pennock, assistant pastor of Park United Methodist Church officiating. Burial was in Evergreen cemetery in Orwell. Surviving are a son Robert O Bambury and a daughter Doris Bambury Puttock (Roy) both of Pulaski and nieces and nephews. She was born October 6, 1892 in Orwell, a daughter of Orville and Stella Parker Stowell. She was educated in Orwell schools and Arnprior High School, Ontario. She was married to James T Bambury October 6, 1900. The couple operated a farm in Pulaski vicinity. He died November 21, 1947. She was a member of Pulaski Chapter 149, the Pulaski Grange and was the first president of Bethal Auxiliary Community center.
