He was born in Paris, Michigan, September 20, 1887, and came to Flint 22 years ago from Paris. He was married June 29, 1915, to Julia Hurst, Big Rapids, Michigan. Member of the Carpenter Local No. 1373, and a carpenter by trade. Surviving; wife, Mrs. Julia Besson; son James Besson of Flint; 3 daughters, Mrs. George Pratt, Mrs. Harold Yott and Mrs. Harry Gramer; 3 grandchildren, all of Flint; sister Mrs. Claude Rogers of Paris, Michigan.From death certificate, from Genesee County, local file #488/414; buried 28 April 1941 in Paris, died from Coronary Thrombosis, secondary cause; chronic myocartitis, social security #385-03-4825, born 20 Sept. 1887 in Paris, father was James Besson, and mother was Margaret Oglivie.
