Pearl Margaret Underwood, 79, Brewster, formerly of Bridgeport, died Wednesday at Brewster Hospital.
She was born on July 7, 1904, at Nebraska and married William Rollo Underwood July 7, 1922, at Pateros. He died May 9, 1981.
Mrs. Underwood was a member of the Puritan Chapter No. 144 of the Order of Eastern Star, Bridgeport Rebekah Lodge, Bridgeport Garden Club and the American Legion Auxiliary.
She was a Gold Star Mother. Her son, Billy, was killed in action during World War II.
Survivors include numerous nieces and nephews.
Funeral services were held Friday, April 27, at 2:30 pm at Pateros Cemetery, Rev. Ray Glessner officiating. Interment Pateros Cemetery. Barnes Chapel, Brewster, in charge of arrangements.
