Born:November 17,1887 in Rahway, Union County, New Jersey. Served under General John "BLACK JACK" Pershing during the search for Mexican bandit PANCHO VILLA before the United States entered WWI. Employed with Hess Brother's Candy in New Jersey, later employed with E.H. Brach candy company in Chicago, Ill. Long time resident of Oak Park,ILL. Passed away on April 7, 1977. Burial at Woodlawn cemetery in Forest Park, ILL.
