Peter Eckenrode was the 15th child of John and Catherine (Reppert) Eckenrode. He was born on 12 April 1823.

Rufina (Fry) Eckenrode and Peter J. Eckenrode had five children:

2. John Albert Eckenrode brn. 1855

3. Kinery A. Eckenrode brn. 1858

4. Emily M. Eckenrode brn. 1860

5. Edward Cornelius Eckenrode brn. 1864


This stone is located in the old part of St. Michael's Basilica Cemetary. As you face the cemetary from the Museum building, it is located along the right side near the first large trees, about one-third to half-way back.

Buried in the older Basilica Cemetery. The cemetery went through renovation after the construction of a newer building consecrated in October 2, 1901.
