OBITUARY - RAMONA HERALD, APRIL ?, 1936
Mrs. Elmyra V. Tyner, died Thursday, March 27th, at the age of 85 years at her farm home near her daughter, Mrs. George Sears. She was one of the oldest pioneer women in this part of the country as she came here with her parents at the age of two months. She was the mother of eleven children, five of whom are living. They are: J. W. Tyner and Mrs. John Greenwood of Ramona, Emmett Tyner of Colorado, Mrs. Nicholson of Bartlesville, and Mrs. George Sears of Ochelata. Funeral services were held at the M. E. Church of Ochelata on Friday, March 28, at 2 p.m. Reverend L. Robins of Claremore and Reverend East of Ochelata officiated. Interment was in the Tyner Cemetery.
