Charles Franklin "Rusty" Francis Jr., 47, of the 1400 block of Bayville Road, passed away July 9, 2008, in his home. A native of Norfolk, he had worked with the Marva Maid maintenance department for 16 years. He was very active in community baseball having been a head coach with NAS Little League, and assisted at Granby High and the American Legion Post 327 teams. He also coached basketball at Holy Trinity School. He is survived by his mother, Carol Marie Stokley; his sister, Margaret Turner and husband John Turner; brother, John Francis, all of Norfolk; four nephews, Gary, Jonathan, Jeffrey and Joshua; several aunts, uncles and cousins and his beloved Scooby. A funeral will be conducted Monday at 1 p.m. at Hollomon- Brown Funeral Home, Tidewater Drive Chapel. The burial will follow in Forest Lawn Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Sunday from 6 to 8 p.m. Condolences may be offered to the family at www.hollomon-brown.com.
