Glenwood Allsbrook, age 70, Crestview, Fla., died Tuesday, Nov. 17, 1998, in his home.
He was born in Enfield, N.C., on June 29, 1928, to Donald and Julia Allsbrook. Glenwood had been living in this area since 1978, coming from Tarboro, N.C. He was a member of the Non-commissioned Officers' Association.
Survivors include his wife, Mary Allsbrook, of Crestview; sons, Michael G. Allsbrook of Albuquerque, N.M., Richard D. Allsbrook of Denver, and Steven D. Allsbrook of Moore, Okla.; daughter, Mary C. Mercer of Westminster, Colo.; sister, Jeannie Lassiter of Fayetteville, N.C.; and four grandchildren.
A visitation will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, with a prayer service at 7 p.m., at McLaughlin-Aultman Funeral Home in Crestview.
A funeral service will be held at Our Lady of Victory Catholic Church at 10 a.m. Thursday, Nov. 19. Interment will be in Live Oak Memorial Park Cemetery in Crestview with full military honors.
