Tina M. Hoover, of Altoona, died Thursday evening, July 10, 2008, at a home in Greenwood. She was 44 years of age.
Born in Altoona, daughter of Marvin and Faye(Stoops)Stockslager.
She is survived by her mother, Faye McKee of Altoona, a daughter Amber N. Wert of Dunansville, a son, Shawn L. Wert and wife, Stacy, of Hollidaysburg, two grandchildren, Gauge and Kassidy. She is also survived by a sister, Judith Vaughan of Lakemont, a brother, Eric E McKee and wife, Carrie, of Lakemont, a niece, Keira McKee, and two nephews Richard Vaughan and Dylan Stoops.
She was preceded in death by stepfather, Eugene McKee, in May 2008, and brother-in-law, Denny Vaughan in 1994.
She had worked as a supervisor at Mattern House for the mentally handicapped at Foot of Ten.
Arrangements by Sorge Funeral Home, Hollidaysburg, PA. Friends received on Sunday, and funeral service at 10 a.m. Monday, July 14, with Pastor Henry L Shafffer officiating. Interment at Carson Valley Cemetery, Duncansville, PA.
