Mrs George B McClintock, of Horton last Tuesday morning filled her washing machine with scalding water and left it for a few minutes. Her little 14 months old daughter removed the plug from the machine and the scalding water poured over her body. Before the mother could return in response to the child's screams, it was fatally scalded. It died the next day.
