Albert L. King, 70, of Olney, died at 4:58 a.m. Monday, March 15, 2004, at Richland Memorial Hospital in Olney.

Visitation was from 12:30 to 1:30 p.m. today at Summers-Kistler Funeral Home in Olney. Funeral services were at 1:30 p.m. today at the funeral home with Brother Johnny Crockett officiating. Burial with full military rites was in Maple Dale Cemetery in Olney.

Mr. King was born on January 1, 1934, in Warsaw, Mo., the son of Hiram and Louise (Miller) King. He married Judith Smith on May 31, 1964. She survives.

He was owner of King's Septic Tank Service. He was a U.S. Army veteran and a member of Eagles Lodge in Olney and Moose Lodge in Vincennes, Ind.

Mr. King is survived by his wife, Judith King, of Olney; two daughters, Tina King, of Texas, and Vina Thompson, of Danville; a stepdaughter, Julie Mowrey and her husband, Kenneth, of Danville; a stepson, Daniel Smith and his wife, Missy, of Georgetown; two sisters, Marcella King, of
Vincennes, Ind., and Helen Cardin and her husband, Carl, of Texas; and 12 grandchildren and one great-grandson.

He was preceded in death by his parents.
