Mr. Funk was born October 16, 1944 in Piatt County, s/o Herbert Raymond and June Evans Funk. He married Jo Ellen Hicks on June 26, 1970 in Monticello. She survives along with a sister, Kay Anderson of Champaign. He was preceded in death by his parents.
Mr. Funk was employed at Collegiate Cap and Gown in Champaign; was a member of First Christian Church of Monticello. Memorials may be made to the American Diabetes Assn or the American Heart Assn.
