Bert Barentine, 58 year old Monroe resident, died suddenly early Monday afternoon while he was on the job with the Rock Island railroad.
Services will be conducted in the Baptist Church of Monroe under the direction of the Dowden Funeral home of Heavener. Final arrangements were pending awaiting word of close relatives.
Survivors include his wife Dona of the home; one son, Kenneth, of the home; two daughters, Mrs. Wilma Hemphill of Monroe and Lucille Biggs of North Highland, California; one brother, four sisters, and six grandchildren.
