Mrs. H. T. Ruble received the sad news of the death of her mother, Mrs. Manning, which occurred at Lumberton Friday night.
Three children of Mrs. Manning live at and near Vancleave. They are Mrs. H.T. Ruble, Mrs. J.J. Fletcher and J.C. Manning, all of whom left at once for Lumberton for the funeral service.
The sympathy of this community is with the bereaved family.

The obituary states
...that Georgianne was living with her daughter Mrs. S.E. Pell in Richton for six weeks when she passed. Her funeral was held at the Baptist Church of Richton, with Rev. Loss presiding...
