Mary Catherine (Fichter) Lasher, 78, of Worthington RD 1, died unexpectedly at 5:34 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 29, 1984, in Shadyside Hospital, Pittsburgh. She was born Sept. 7, 1905, in Kittanning, a daughter of John William and Mary (Neuhour) Fichter. She lived in the Pittsburgh area 37 years and most recently resided at Worthington. She was a member of St. Mary's Roman Catholic Church, Ford City. She is survived by her husband, Claude W. Lasher; one son, William T. Lasher of Worthington RD 1; three sisters, Mrs. E.J. (Frances) Forcht, Mrs. Gertrude Green and Mrs. Wendell (Babe) Hume, all of Butler; and one granddaughter. Lasher - Friends of Mary Catherine (Fichter) Lasher, 78, of Worthington RD 1, who died Wednesday, Aug. 29, 1984, will be received from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. Friday at Bauer Funeral Home, Kittanning, where a parish Rosary service will be held at 7 p.m. Friday. Mass of Christian burial will be held at 10 a.m. Sunday at St. Mary's Roman Catholic Church, Ford City. Burial will follow in Lawn Haven Burial Estates. Arrangements are by Bauer.
