Chester D. Adams, a life resident of Glen Wild, died yesterday at Veteran's Hospital in The Bronx. Mr. Adams, a carpenter, was past commander of the Ruddick Trowbridge Post, American Legion, of Monticello.
A son of Hiram and Alice Rundle Adams, he was born in Glen Wild July eleventh, 1888.
Funeral services will be held at 2:30 Thursday afternoon at the Rock Hill Methodist Church with the Rev. Jay O. Warner officiating. Interment will be in the Rock Hill Cemetery, with Legion services at the grave.
Mr. Adams was a veteran of World War One.
