Brandon Lee Woodruff

Brandon Lee Woodruff, 13, of Idaho Falls, son of Jo Ellen Woodruff, drowned July 16, 1995, in the Snake River in Idaho Falls. His body was found July 24, 1995.

He was born Nov. 23, 1981, at Oxnard, Calif., to Jo Ellen Woodruff. He attended schools in Idaho Falls and was planning to continue his education at Sand Creek Middle School this fall.

He was a member of the LDS Church. In Boy Scouts, he was a member of troops 332 and 122. Among his favorite pastimes were gymnastics, swimming, playing Little League baseball, and skateboarding. He played the guitar and loved to draw. Those he especially loved were his Mom, sisters, friends and pets.

He also enjoyed spending time with his aunts and uncles, David and Melynda Lybolt and Doug and Wendy Powell, all of Idaho Falls, and Britt and Tracy Woodruff, Melanie Williams, Robin Lybolt, Harmony Powell, and Celeste and Thomas Sleischer. His cousins, Chad, Bryan, Celaya, Andrew, Candace, Meghan and Karissa were special to him.

Survivors include his mother of Idaho Falls; sisters, Fallon Lybolt and Autumn Lybolt, both of Idaho Falls; brothers, Ryan Morford of Idaho Falls, and Josh Russell of California; grandparents, Ralph and Margaret Woodruff of ElDorado Springs, Mo., Phillip and Connie Powell of Idaho Falls, Patricia Lybolt of Idaho Falls, and Gerald E. Lybolt of Oxnard, Calif.; and great-grandmother, Letha Romane Winter of Visalia, Calif.

Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at the Idaho Falls LDS 32nd Ward, 2349 Virlow, with Bishop Mark Bailey officiating. The family will meet with friends for one hour before services at the church. Burial will be in Fielding Memorial Park under the direction of Coltrin Colonial Mortuary in Idaho Falls.
