Mr. Mason was born in Laconia, Ind.
He was a member of Middletown United Methodist Church.
He was married to Lucy Bunn; she died Jan. 11, 1970.
He leaves one son, Ronald, of Middletown; three daughters, Mrs. Maxine Dubuono, of Peoria; Mrs. Leticia White and Mrs. Delores Horton, both of Pekin; and eight grandchildren.
Service were at Middletown United Methodist Church with burial in Irish Grove Cemetery, Middletown.
Holland & Barry Funeral Home, Lincoln was in charge of arrangements.
