Mrs. Bowersox of Sligo RD1 Dies Saturday
SLIGO - Mrs. Bertha Barbara Bowersox of Sligo Route 1 died Saturday in the Oil City Hospital.
She was born October 4, 1910 and today would have been her 55th birthday.
On March 16, 1927, she married Banks B. Bowersox. He survives.
Mrs. Bowersox was a member of the Church of God of South Bethlehem.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by five daughter, Mrs. John (Linda) Ansel Jr. of Clarion, Mrs. Fred (Altha) Detrick of Strattanville RD, Mrs. Bruce (Evelyn) Goodman of Sligo RD, Mrs. Bill (Shirley) Wilkinson of Erie and Mrs. David (Lois) Ballentine of Sligo RD; two sons, Donald of Sligo Route 1 and Ronald of Oil City RD; two sisters, Mrs. Esther Unkinson of Sharpsville and Mrs. Stella Kidd of Anderson, Ind.; and 11 grandchildren.
Two infant sons, Duane and Mervin, preceded her in death.
Friends are being received at the Hawk Funeral Home, Sligo.
