Ulysess Davenport, 66, of Route 1, died Wednesday at his home.
A native of Laurens County, he was a son of the late Marion and Annie Wrenn Davenport.
He was a retired carpenter.
Surviving are his wife, Geneva Horne Davenport of the home; three sons, Billy Ray Davenport of Houston, Texas, Jerry Davenport of Waterloo and Stanley Davenport of Greenwood; three daughters, Mrs. Judy Dorn and Mrs. Arah Smith Riser of Waterloo and Mrs. Kay Neeley of Simpsonville; a brother, the Rev. Jones Davenport of Waterloo; a sister, Mrs. Doris Mattison of Donalds: 19 grandchildren; a great-grandchild.
Services will be Friday at 3 p.m. at Bethlehem Union Church with the Rev. James Kent officiating. Burial will be in Reedy Grove Pentecostal Holiness Church Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Paul Kernetls. Edward and Walter Davenport, Donnie Bumgard-ner, Paul Young, Jesse Weathers and Scottie Bingham.
The body is at Parker-White Funeral Home of Ware Shoals, where the family will receive friends from 7 to 9 tonight.
