Born March 8, 1927, in Frederick, Mr Beall was a son of the late Stonewall Jackson and Katie Mae Brunner Beall.
Mr. Beall served with the U. S. Marine Corps from 1952 to 1954. He had been employed by the Bureau of Standards at Gaithersburg and retired from federal service in February 1985.
He was a life member of Frederick Church of the Brethern and the Sunday school, and more recently, had moved his membership to Leetown Church of the Bretheren, Leetown, W.VA.
Surviving in addition to his wife are two sons, Richard Irving Beall of Boonsboro and Donald Robert Beall of Hagerstown; two daughters, Joan Beall Rhoderick of Shepardstown and Patti I. Woolam of Eastland Texas; one brother, Claude Vincent Beall of Frederick; two sisters, Mary Elizabeth Beall of Frederick and Edna Mae Guyton of Crownsville; his mother in law, Mrs Evelyn Crum of Frederick; 6 grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends 7-9 p.m. Wednesday, March 13, and Thursday March 14 at the Keeney & Basford Funeral Home, 106 E. Church St., Frederick. Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Friday March 15, in Etchison Memorial Chapel of the funeral home. The Rev. David A. Eastis, associate pastor of Frederick Church of the Brethern, the Rev. Dr. James S. Flora, pastor of Frederick Church of the Brethern and the Rev. Mason Cooper, pastor of Leetown Church of the Brethern, will officiate. Interment will be in Mount Olivet Cemetery.
