Daughter of Jesse Landridge and Hannah Horlock.
Born in County of Kent, England. Lydia came to the USA with her parents before Oct. 1855.

Death of Mrs. Robert B Grant--Tuesday morning at 1:05 o'clock the spirit of Mrs. Lydia Sarah Landridge, beloved wife of Mr. Robert B Grant of this city took its flight from its earthly tenement of clay to a brighter world beyond. Mrs. Grant was in the 57th year of her age. She was a native of Mobile, but had spent the greater part of her life in this city. The funeral services were held from the family residence Wednesday morning at 10 o'clock, Rev. A. C. Watkins of the Baptist church officiating, of which denomination the deceased was a consecrated member and active worker. --- Mrs. Grant is survived by her husband and eight children, as follows: Lafayette B, Wm. J, Mrs. Ora Rolls, Robt. B., Jr., Mrs D. E. Haistin, of Birmingham, Ala., Hannah, Lydia and Jessie Grant. The sympathy of the entire community goes out to the afflicted family in the loss of a loving wife and devoted mother. Peace to her soul.
