Henry Harding, the victim of Tuesday morning's severe accident, at Monticello, died Wednesday evening about 9 o'clock. Very slight hopes of his rallying were entertained by physicians, who did everything that skill and modern science could suggest. He was one of the most robust men in Monticello, and it was thought that possibly his strong physique might serve to help pull him through the effects of the terrible accident.

Deceased was born at Rock Hill, in 1872, where he spent most of his time until he learned the carpenter trade and went to Monticello to work. In 1905 he was united in marriage to Miss Clara Adams. His is survived by his widow, two brothers, Frank, of Rock Hill and Hiram, of Floral Park, L. I., and three sisters, Anna, wife of Walter Brown, of Liberty; Mary, wife of H. U. Whipple, of Monticello, and Elizabeth, at Rock Hill.

The funeral will be held on Saturday at 3 p.m. Interment at Rock Hill.

Henry and a colleague, William Richardson, were working on a scaffold which gave way, dropping both men one hundred feet. Henry fell to the ground and landed on his head. Richardson was luckier, and eventually recovered from his injuries.
