He is survived by his wife Mary Morton Myers; four sons William Jr., Joseph, Roland and Morgan Myers; eight grandchildren Chryshelle, Janelle, Cheritta, Joseph Jr., Angela, Charnesse, Jordan and Rachel Myers; a host of nieces, nephews and cousins; three daughters in law Chloricia, Elizabeth and Rene Myers; one sister-in-law Deaconess Viola Young; one brother-in-law Bernard Morton; and other relatives and friends.
Remains rested at Joseph Jenkins Jr. Funeral Home, 2011 Grayland Avenue. Funeral services Thursday, July 10, 2008, at 11am at Mt. Carmel Baptist Church in Doswell, Virginia. Rev. Herman Trueheart officiated. Interment Mt. Carmel Baptist Church Cemetery. Family and friends assembled at the church 10:45am Thursday, July 10, 2008.
