BOBBY H. LAMB, 77, of Duncan, Okla., died Saturday, July 5, 2008, in his home.
Funeral will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday in New Hope Baptist Church West, with the Rev. Randy Southerland officiating, assisted by the Rev. Charles Roy McConnell. Interment will be in Duncan Cemetery under direction of Don Grantham Funeral Home.
Bob was born Sept. 7, 1930, in Seminole, to Uel L. and Mabel Ledna Morrow Lamb. He married Joy Moore on July 14, 1951, in Duncan.
He was a veteran of the Korean conflict, serving in the U.S. Air Force. He owned and operated Bob Lamb Insurance Agency until his retirement in 1994. He was a member of New Hope Baptist Church West.
Survivors include his wife, Joy of the home; three daughters and sons-in-law, Debra and Gus Funderburg of Dumfries, Va., Sherri and Joe Mullen of Oklahoma City, and Nancy and Chuck Mullen of Duncan; a son and daughter-in-law, Ronnie and Virginia Lamb of Wichita Falls, Texas; a sister, Betty Thomas of Duncan; nine grandchildren, Jason Whetstone, Valerie Lee, Richard Funderburg, Christopher Funderburg, Jeffrey Funderburg, Jessica Cook, Eric Mullen, Lindsey Mullen and Jared Mullen; and 12 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Bearers will be Jeffrey Funderburg, Eric Mullen, Jared Mullen, Jason Whetstone, Todd Clark and Rex Moore.
