Mrs. Nannie Marek
Mrs. Nannie Ann Marek, wife of George M. Marek of Rt. 5, Petersburg, died Friday night in the Petersburg General Hospital following a period of declining health. She was a native and lifelong resident of Chesterfield County, and a daughter of the late John T. & Elizabeth Andrews Belcher. Besides her husband, she is survived by two daughters, Mary & Ann, three sons, Frank, Harvey and Willie, one sister, Mrs. John Belcher of Chesterfield County; 12 grandchildren and one great-grandchild and a number of nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be conducted Tuesday at 2 PM in the chapel of J. T. Morris and Sons. Dr. C. C. Bell, pastor of Wesley Chapel and the Rev. Carl Yow, pastor of Ettrick Methodst Church will officiate and burial will be in the Marek family cemetery, Chesterfield County.
