George Milton Marek, 76, of Eanes Rd., Chesterfield County, died Sunday at his residence following a period of decling health.
A native and lifelong resident of Chesterfield County, he was a son of the late Frank and Willie Belcher Marek. He was a retired employee of Seward Luggage Mfg. Co.
Survivng are two daughters, Mary & Ann; three sons, Frank, Willie & Harvie; a sister, Miss Virginia Marek, three brothers, John, Roy, & Clarence; 13 grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be at 3 PM Wednesday in the Petersburg Chapel of J. T. Morriss & Son with the Rev. Grover Jenkins, pastor of Tabernacle Methodist Church and the Rev. Roger Jarrell pastor of Calvary Baptist Church offficiatng. Burial will be in the Marek family cemetery, Chesterfield County.
