Frank was the son of William Dieckow and Fredricka Casburg both were born in Germany. He was the husband of Anna.

Resident of City 41 Years Succumbs

Frank A. E. Dieckow, Sr., 61, died at his home, 410 Cumberland Road, Wednesday. He was a native of Zuchl and lived here 41 years. He was an employee of the Pioneer Flour Mills.

Survivors are his widow, Mrs. Anna Dieckow; five sons, Frank Dieckow, Jr.of Aransas Pass; Harry, Malcom, and Louis Dieckow all of this city and Earnest Dieckow of Brooklyn, N. Y., two daughters, Misses Lydia and Lorraine Dieckow; a brother, William Dieckow of Stockdale; two sisters, Mrs. Anna Easkins, Hamilton, Mrs. Henrietta Garrison of this city.

DIECKOW—Died at his home 410 Cumberland road, Wednesday, May 15, 1940, Frank Dieckow Sr., 61 years, survived by his widow, Mrs. Anna Dieckow, sons. Frank Jr., Harry, Malcom, Louis and Ernest Dieckow: daughters, Misses Lydia and Lorraine Dieckow: brother, William Dieckow; sisters. Mrs. Anna Askins, Mrs. Henrietta Garrison.- two Brothers Jack and Thomas Dieckow. Funeral services at the chapel of the Riebe Funeral home, Saturday morning at 11 o'clock. The Rev. John Scherzer officiating. Interment at San Jose Cemetery.
