Age 74, of Mt. Oliver, peacefully on October 12, 2005; husband of the late Joyce Anita Jeffries Woods; father of Marvella Lynn Payne, Kevin Torry, Brandon Dale and Sonya G. Woods and the late Dean Guy Woods; brother of Thelma Thomas, Jessie Livingston, Mary Alice Bennett and the late Clotille Faulk; also survived by nine grandchildren and one great-grandson and a host of other relatives.
Friends received at the SAMUEL J. JONES FUNERAL HOME, Wylie Ave., Hill District on Tuesday 2-4 and 7-9pm where funeral service will be held Wednesday at 11am. Interment Greenwood Cemetery.
