FAYETTE- Funeral services for Marion Adams, 60, of Bankston Rt.2 will be held Saturday at 2 p.m. at the Shady Grove Baptist Church with the Rev. W.A. Johnson officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery with Dowdle-Brown Service in charge.
Mr. Adams was stricken with an attack Thursday while walking on a road near his home. He was pronounced dead on arrivial at the Fayette County Hospital.
He was a farmer and was an unsuccessful candiate for county commissioner for district four this year.
Survivors include his wife; a daughter, Mrs. Vaughn Miller of Bankston Rt.two; two brothers, Theron Adams and Ed Adams, both of Bankston Rt.2; a sister, Mrs. Palp Cole of Tyler, Tex., and two grandchildren.
