Mildred Evelyn Cook, 90, a lifelong Millerton resident, died April 12 at her home. She had worked as a schoolteacher in various one room school houses in the town of North East. Born April 29, 1900 in Millerton, she was the daughter of Samuel and Minnie Morse Booth. Her husband, George W. Cook, died Oct 18, 1967. She is survived by a daughter, Helen Cook, Amenia; four grandchildren and three great grandchildren.
