He died on Sunday at the Clyde hotel at Lenark, Ont., where be had been staying during the winter. The people at the hotel were very kind to him and tenderly cared for him during his sickness, and about a dozen of the people accompanied the remains to Perth on their way here. He leaves two brothers, Simon O. Barnhart, of Brooklyn, and Solomon Barnhart, of this place. He was a son of Peter Barnhart, one of the first settlers of the Island. Rev. Samwell, of Moulinette, officiated at the funeral and there were present among others Mr. and Mrs. O. H. Wood and Miss Emma Barnhart, of Moulinette, and C.A. Boynton and Mrs. E. J. Barnhart, of Massena.
