Aged Cuba Woman Dies At 89 Years At Home of Daughter
Cuba, Feb. 2. - (Special) - Mrs. Catherine Laswell, aged 89 years died about 8:30 o'clock this morning at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Phoebe Eveland on North Third street, after a long illness.
The aged woman had been in poor health for a long time and several weeks ago fell, breaking her hip. Since that time she has gradually failed.
Her daughters, Mrs. Eveland and Mrs. B. F. Bolon of Smithfield have been in constant attendance on her since the accident. No funeral arrangements have been made.
