Steve was born January 24, 1951 in Frontenac, KS to Raymond A. and Betty J. (Ales) Pallucca. He attended area schools, graduating from Frontenac High School with the class of 1969. He went on to graduate, with the class of 1975, form the University of Notre Dame, with a degree in English, where he was the class president that year. He later attended Washburn University where he studied Law for 1 1⁄2 years.
When Steve was younger he helped his father at Pallucca's Supermarket.
Steve was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Frontenac. He also belonged to the Eagle's Club.
Steve was an avid football fan.
Survivors include his mother and stepfather Betty and Sandy DeVoss of Frontenac, KS; sister Marilyn Pallucca and her daughter Hallie both of Chicago, ILL.
Steve was preceded in death by his father.
Mass of Christian Burial will be 10 a.m., Tuesday, July 8, 2008 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Frontenac with Fr. Robert McElwee as celebrant. Burial will follow in Garden of Memories Cemetery in Pittsburg. The family will receive friends from 5-8 p.m. on Monday at the funeral home, where a rosary will be recited at 7 p.m.. Following the rosary, friends are requested to share memories about Steve. Friends may call the funeral home after 10 a.m. on Monday. The casket will remain closed.
