"Linna Yarrington, 97, Died January 29, 1982, in the Mark Twain Convelescent Home in San Andreas, Ca. Linna was born in Sierraville on August 18, 1884, where she lived until 1962, when she moved to White Pines, Ca. She is survived by one daughter, Amy Dolley of White Pines; two grandsons, Raymond of Sacramento, and Dennis of San Ramona; seven great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild. Amy Alexander Teicheira of Vallejo and Downieville is a cousin. Linna was a Blatchley and a granddaughter of George Hardy who setlled in Downieville in 1849. She was member of Sierra Star Chapter No. 129 of Sierraville for many years. Private services were held at San Andreas."
